What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about Americans?

The first thing that came to my mind was freedom, but my thinking about this question has changed a little bit since then. While I stayed in America last year, I felt like it was more strict and principled to some degree. Especially in education, they are more likely to stick to their original rules. American parents teach their children manners and make them think in a right way. I came to the realization that freedom isn’t equal to doing what I like to do. Every action has to have a permitted range, and we can enjoy freedom within those boundaries.
