Do you prefer British or American English and why?

I don’t prefer American English but I’m more used to it. A lot of English education is based on American English. But I got a chance to experience British English like Miranda through this class. I guess British is also attractive. I feel like British sounds more academic. Little differences between them is interesting. Anyway, those two are English, so the more important thing is my English skills. I want to understand any kind of English.
