Have you ever thought about common stereotypes about South Koreans?

First of all, most foreigners seem to think that we eat dog. It is true that eating dog is a tradition in Korea but we rarely eat dog today except for some old men. Korean people, especially old men, tend to believe that eating special food like frog or grasshopper helps their health. Dog is one of them. However, most Koreans don’t eat dog these days. Second, they seem to think that we are in a very dangerous situation because of North Korea. I think that the situation in the U.S or Europe is more dangerous than ours because of terror or gun control. It’s definitely a fact that we are still at war because we didn’t finalize a ceasefire agreement, but the actual situation in South Korea is not as serious as foreigners think.
